Meiyijia Convenience Store Group was founded in 1997, building on the foundation of China's first chain supermarket, Meijia Supermarket. Over time, it has grown into a large-scale chain of convenience stores. It started with store expansion primarily in Guangdong and gradually extended its presence nationwide. By 2023, the number of chain stores has exceeded 27,000.
